The game of polo consists of four players and is divided into chukkas which each last for 7.5 minutes.

A very fast moving game, professional polo players ideally have a different pony for each chukka. Polo was first played in Persia in the 6th century, and spread worldwide by the 1800s. The Hurlingham Club in London was made Headquarters of polo in 1875.
